Solid Objects

Summary

solids are three dimensional objects which have length, width and height.

examples of common solids are cubes, cuboids, pyramids, cones, cylinders and spheres.

the cross section of a solid is a "slice" of a solid through a given direction.

prism is a solid with the same cross section for all of its length.

a platonic solid is a solid with all of its faces the same regular shape. there are only 5 of them.
